DESCRIPTION: This CRP Property is comprised of 2 Tracts in Southeastern Bailey County and Southwestern Lamb County has gentle to moderate slope and generally has a good stand of improved grass. With good accessibility and soils that are capable of moderate farming and good grazing, this two tract offering would make a great property for hunting possibilities and possibly running cattle. Currently the most of the land that is located in Lamb County is in the Conservation Reserve Program providing annual income. With this area being in an area with a natural basin, it should have the capability to hold game native to the area.

TOPOGRAPHY: East Tract is highest in the Northeast portion of the property with the farm having gentle to more gradual slope to the South and Southwest portion of the property.
West Tract is relatively flat on north 1/3 of property with gradual slope to the south and center of the tract toward large playa area located in the south central area of the tract. The east and west lower 2/3 sides of the property slope to the playa lake in the south central part of the property as well.
IMPROVEMENTS: There are no substantial improvements on this property other than one old irrigation well site that has not been used in years. There are two wind turbines on the east tract.
WATER FEATURES: There are a couple of low lying areas that can stand in water and flood during extremely large rainfall.

West Tract is primarily composed of Amarillo fine sandy loam, 1 to 3 percent slopes, Amarillo loamy fine sand, 0 to 3 percent slopes, Zita fine sandy loam, 1 to 3 percent slopes, Midessa fine sandy loam, 1 to 3 percent slopes, Amarillo fine sandy loam, 3 to 5 percent slopes, smaller areas of Randall clay, 0 to 1 percent slopes, occasionally ponded, and Mansker fine sandy loam, 3 to 5 percent slopes.
